The Planning Board's goal is to have the Town move forward in a positive direction, planning for orderly, controlled growth by reviewing applications for new businesses, subdivisions, change in use and other important planning procedures. In order to maintain the Town's natural beauty and long standing character, the Planning Board must take everything into consideration to plan for the future.

Planning Department Hours:

Winter Hours: (November - April) Monday and Thursday 8am-4pm

Summer Hours: (May - October) Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8am-4pm

Planning Board Monthly Meetings: 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm, unless otherwise posted.

Site Review Law (PDF - 1.7 MB) Site Review applications are required for activities listed in Section 5.2-C of the Site Review Law, including: Any use involving the use of more the alteration of three or more acres of land, excluding customary agricultural uses such as pasturing and crop raising; Mobile Home Parks; Travel Trailer Parks; Campgrounds All non-residential uses; Conversion of any building into a three- or more family dwelling; Any DEC "Type 1" SEQR action;Any development within a designated floodplain or wetland; any residential subdivision, as defined in the Site Review Law Download the Site Review Law here for further information.
