FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS SHINE AGAIN in FORESTPORT

Scooter's Fast Pitch Softball Team has its Friday night opening game against Prospect on Friday night June 4th, 2010 at 8:15 PM at the Prospect Field.

Rick "Scooter" Wolcott and Rick Ritter continue to manage and coach the Scooter's Team.

Scooter's Fast Pitch Team is in its fourth year of participation in the Northern League that includes Teams -Andee's Tavern, Barneveld Family Chiropractic, Northern Merchants, Prospect, Roberts Post, Trenton and Empire. The League features players from Barneveld, Boonville, Coldbrook, Floyd, Forestport, Holland Patent, Lowville, Newport, Ohio, Poland, Prospect, Remsen, Rome, Stittville and Trenton and has been actively playing for over 60 years.

This year, Scooter's Team is welcoming two new players -Will Denslow and Matt Legacy and Casey Tyndall is returning from a 2 year absence.

There will be 9 home games and 8 away games played either at the Prospect, Stittville or Holland Patent Field.

The first home game is Friday, June 11th at 8:15 PM. Scooter's will play Andee's.

In addition, Scooter's will hold their Annual Fitch Pitch Tournament June 18-20 at the Dutch Hill Field.
